BlackSeaLion Films is a film production company recently established in Bucharest.

The Company is been created by the established producer/ director Theodor Halacu-Nicon, known as the creator of some of the most successful projects on Romanian TV market as: Băieti Buni (Good Guys) - 2005 ProTv, 17 – O poveste despre destin (17 - A tale about destiny) - 2008 Prima TV,  as well as a list of international projects.

Flash Media Productions is a company established in 2004, its creator is Andrei Rusu. FMP has been acting as the casting company providing both extras and talent for most of the projects produced in Romania during the last 8 years.

The two production companies merged to produce a new action/ drama short film.

THE CURSED is an original short film set in Eastern European Romania, about corruption, politics and human nature.

  

Synopsis:

During turmoil times before elections for Presidency of Romania, Adrian a young prosecutor tries to uncover the disappearance of his father Ion Cozma, a Senator in the party of opposition who vanished after he unveiled the act of corruption that helped bring the President and his twin brother to power.

As the corpses of both the Senator and his Driver are found in a cement factory belonging to the President’s twin brother, drowned in a lime pit, Adrian hopes he will get justice.

Once his involvement into the investigation is refused due to his kinship with the victim, Adrian tries to unveil the true story by sending a blog to the media but he is silenced in the same manner as the witness.
